What is Herbalism?
Herbal medicine is the Art and Science of using herbs for promoting health and preventing and treating illness. It has persisted as the world’s primary form of medicine since the beginning of time. Ethno-botanical knowledge and traditional medicinal practices from different parts of the world are of global importance to cultural preservation, traditional preservation, and new developments in medicine. The World Health Organization estimate that 70% of the worlds’ population still relies primarily upon traditional healing practices, most if not all incorporate herbal medicine.
We focus on differential diagnosis skills, materia medica and therapeutics which are essential to individualize treatment and help patients to not only resolve symptoms, but create constitutional change needed for physical, emotional and spiritual wellness.
